Brad Leake is a data analyst and operations leader based in Greenville, South Carolina. He has spent his career building reports and dashboards for leaders and also running the finance, operations, and technology work behind them, so he understands both how the numbers are produced and how they get used.
From 2013 to 2018 he was Director of Accountability, Data and Research at the South Carolina Department of Social Services, where he led more than 70 staff in quality assurance, performance management, data and research, and contract monitoring. That work covered program and performance reviews (rather than financial audits) and federal and state reporting for child welfare, including the federal Child and Family Services Reviews, as well as SNAP, TANF, adult protective services, and child care licensing.
From 2018 to 2025 he served as Chief of Staff and Director of Operations at a large church, where he was responsible for finance, human resources, IT, and facilities, managed a $3 million budget, and led the church's Planning Center implementation.
Since 2024 he has been Senior Program Director at Public Goods Group, a health equity consultancy, where his work includes community health needs assessments for hospitals, IRS Schedule H community benefit reporting, Tableau and Power BI dashboards, and operations for grant review programs.
He also works as an independent data and operations consultant and holds Top Rated Plus status on Upwork. His consulting projects include Power BI dashboards, Excel and Google Sheets tools, reporting systems, Planning Center implementations, and nonprofit finance work, including serving as Director of Finance for a small nonprofit.
