About this sample

The person preparing a quote picks services from a catalog, enters quantities, and chooses Standard, Moderate, or Complex difficulty. The workbook applies material cost with waste, material markup, labor hours at the labor rate, sales tax on materials or on the whole quote, a minimum job charge, and the deposit, all from the settings sheet. A summary panel shows the total, estimated cost, gross margin against target, and crew days.

The quote sheet lays the result out as a clean customer-facing page with the business name that prints on one page. The quote log keeps every quote with its status, flags quotes that are more than a week old or past their valid date, and charts quoted and won value by month. The checks sheet confirms that the printed quote matches the builder and that the log has no stale quotes.
